Armchair ŁAD

1,250

Furniture manufactured at the end of the 1960s at the „ŁAD” Artists Cooperative.
The author of this avant-garde project is Władysław Księżyc – a well-known Polish artist and designer of applied art.
W. Księżyc from 1946 was associated with the Fabryka Mebli in Świebodzin and simultaneously carried out his projects in cooperation with the Artists Cooperative ŁAD.
From 1945 to the end of the 1970s, three generations of eminent artists, whose work had a great influence on Polish applied art, have passed through the cooperative.

The armchair is made of high-quality, light beech wood. The wooden elements were cleaned from the old coating and again protected with several layers of ecological semi-gloss vanish, to emphasize the extraordinarily noble color and texture of the wood.

The upholstery is replaced, covered with a modern patterned fabric, decorated with upholstery nails. The finish faithfully reproduces the original condition of the furniture.
