Designed in 1962 by Józef Chierowski, manufactured in the Dolnośląska Furniture Factory in Świebodzice (Dolnośląska Fabryka Mebli w Świebodzicach). After the fire of the factory, manufactured in several other plants up to the mid-1980s.
This is the most popular chair model of the Polish People’s Republic (PRL) era, produced in a million copies.
Two unique copies underwent a thorough restoration.
Wooden frames have been cleaned of old varnish and painted semi-matte black. The upholstery has been completely renewed, foams and belts replaced, finished with a stylish, colorful fabric carefully selected to match the color of the frame. These armchairs have been finished in the same color as the “Pair of “Jumper” Chairs” and together can create a set.
