Designed by professor Rajmund Teofil Hałas in 1960, manufactured in Bydgoskie Fabryki Mebli.
Professor Hałas – visual artist, architect, furniture designer from an early age associated with carpentry.
He is an exceptionally meritorious figure for Polish design in the post-war years.
He started his professional career as a carpentry master in his father’s factory and ended as the head of the Department of Industrial Design and Design Studio of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań.


The seat is made of bent ash plywood and is supported by light, narrow legs made of solid ash wood.
After cleaning from the old coating and repairing the carpentry, the chairs were re-protected with several layers of varnish, emphasizing the beautiful color and grain of the ash wood.
