Armchairs designed by one of the most outstanding Polish post-war designers – professor Edmund Homa.Produced since 1965 in the Gościcińska Furniture Factory. The GFM – 64 armchair with a low back was part of a set that also included a high-back seat, headrest and footrest. The set won a silver medal at the National Fair “Autumn 1965” and became one of the most popular export goods of the PRL era.An armchair with a low backrest – more universal (smaller) than his brother with a high backrest, was more often sold in the domestic market and was a symbol of luxury and good taste back then.

Armchairs underwent a carpentry and upholstery renovation. After removing old varnish, wooden frame has been stained dark brown and covered with few coats of varnish. Furniture’s filling was replaced and upholstered in high quality fabric.
