The carpentry chair type 200-102 was designed in January 1959 by M. Chomentowska and a few months later it was placed on production lines.
This model was produced in Zakłady im. The Great Proletariat in Elbląg and Kluczborska Fabryka Mebli, about 20,000 copies of this model had been produced by 1966.
This chair is characterized by a raw but aesthetically pleasing form, thanks to which it has the status of an icon of Polish design today.

Structural elements made of beech wood have been cleaned of the old coating and painted black.
The seats and backrests are made of bent birch plywood, veneered with oak and secured with a colorless, matte varnish.
