Created in the 1960s by Zamość Furniture Factory (Zamojska Fabryka Mebli). Designer was inspired by popular sports discipline in the Polish People’s Republic (PRL) era – ski jumping. The semi-circular shape of the armrests refers to the ski jump and the name SKOCZEK was given to honor achievements of Polish athletes.
Chairs underwent a complete renovation. Frames made of wood have been cleaned of the old varnish coat, stained in brown color and protected with several layers of semi-matt varnish. Upholstery on the backrests and on the seats were replaced with fashionable fabric.
