The iconic project of Polish industrial design from the 1960s.
Chairs were designed by Professor Rajmund Teofil Hałas, who started his career as a carpentry master in his father’s factory, but he managed to become a university professor. He is the author of many projects, including several iconic ones, such as Adjustable Height Bookcase from 1959 and many others honored with prestigious awards.
The set of chairs has undergone a comprehensive carpentry and upholstery renovation. The frames made of beech wood have been cleaned of the old coating and secured with a colorless matt varnish. The upholstery sponges on the seats and backrests were replaced and covered with a modern fabric.
