Set of 4 type 296 chairs by R. T. Hałas
Professor Rajmund Teofil Hałas is the author of the project. He was one of the most esteemed and distinguished artist of the Polish design of the post war era. Rewarded in many prestigious design competitions.
Chairs were made in 1966 in Great Proletariat Workshop in Elbląg part of Kluczborg Furniture Factory.
Set of perfectly preserved four chairs was fully restored.
Frames were cleaned from old varnish and covered with several layers of semi-glossy colorless acrylic varnish.
The upholstery on the backrests and the seats has been replaced and finished with modern high quality fabric.
The fabric is referring in style to the 60-ies.
