The chairs were designed in the early 1960s by an outstanding Polish designer prof. R. T. Hałas.
They were produced by several factories belonging to the Union of Furniture Industry.
The influences of Scandinavian design are clearly visible in the simplicity and design of the 200-157 chairs, which can be easily explained by the fact that professor Hałas collaborated with the Institute of Industrial Arts in Helsinki at that time.
The set of chairs made of beech wood has undergone a comprehensive renovation.
The wooden elements have been cleaned of the old coating.
In accordance with the original condition, re-painted with dark brown stain and secured with several layers of semi-matt varnish.
The upholstery fillings have been replaced and covered with a new, fashionable fabric.
