GFM-87 armchair

The armchair was produced in Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli in the early 1970s.
Some, suggesting specifically profiled armrests, unofficially attribute this design to Professor Edmund Homa, the creator of the older brother of our armchair, i.e. the famous GFM-142 type.
However, delving into the history of the Gościcino plant, we learn that the author of this model is Juliusz Kędziorek, the second of the duo of designers from Gościcino.
This is indicated by a certain relationship: the numbering of E. Homa models is even and the numbering of J. Kędziorek is odd.

The armchair has undergone a comprehensive carpentry and upholstery renovation.
Wooden frames have been cleaned of the old coating, painted with a brown stain and secured with several layers of semi-matt varnish.
The upholstery was replaced and finished with a modern, high-quality fabric.
